My friend and I stayed here last weekend and were quite happy with the accommodations. We had nice weather so we were able to enjoy a small water feature, fire pit, and picnic tables set up in the yard. Food was located within miles and was very tasty and reasonably priced.
Our room was cozy and clean and breakfast was delicious.
George, we enjoyed our stay and wish and your family well.

Rooms: Our room was spacious, cozy, and clean. Our bathroom was also very large and afforded much privacy even from my friend.
Nearby activities: We enjoyed a local cafe and two restaurants. All were very yummy and reasonably priced. The American Saloon was most delicious and recommended by George.

The rooms were clean and the food was good. There is off street parking. I stayed in 2 different rooms for a week on the second floor of the main building. The rooms are large. Bathrooms spotless. Negatives - noise and privacy. The innkeeper and his teenage sons live there as well. I guess as an old house with all wood interior, you have to expect some noise, but there were doors opening and closing, and footsteps on the stairs through out the night. Then the other negative, is the oddest thing. There are no privacy blinds or curtains on the windows. I can't believe that no one else has mentioned it. The first room had lace curtains and the second room had sheer panels. I changed my clothes in the bathroom. If you like the quirks of a B&B, enjoy. It's not for me.

I stayed at the Red Lion B&B for several nights, to do a workshop nearby, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The decor is beautiful and cozy, I loved how clean and organized everything was, while maintaining the property's history, the garden and surrounding neighborhood were lovely to walk in, and the innkeeper, George, made an amazing breakfast every morning. Hope to stay again!

This was our first B&B experience. It's very cozy and welcoming. The bed was great. The linens were perfect. The shower was amazing. The innkeeper, George, was very pleasant and accommodating. He made us breakfast and it was delicious. Definitely will stay again. The bed was very high. Great mattress, but my husband had to help me get in the bed. I'm too short.
