Came in with some crazy chimney cleaning machine and cleaned our chimney in like 15 minutes. Didn't leave a particle of soot on anything, rolled out protective covers on the carpet and around the fireplace, vacuumed up the debris in the chamber. Looked great. The lead guy, Chris, pointed out some spalling on the brick above the flashing and said we should get it fixed. I asked if they did that and he said yes and he'd get us a proposal to do that and add a hydrophobic coating to the whole chimney. Didn't strike me as high pressure sales, up selling or anything sleazy as they didn't even offer to fix it until we asked. Just an observation based on other reviews I read that mentioned deceitful practices. Service: Chimney cleaning

Atlantic Chimney came to our house (Free estimate) to measure chimney for a new chimney cover - they were quick and very easy to communicate with. The pricing was reasonable. When the cover came in, we set up a date and time for them to install it- they were on time, friendly, and efficient. They did not make a mess and the chimney cover looks great! I would definitely use them again in the future! Service: Chimney repair & restoration

I requested to have my chimney cleaned, we use this chimney for our home heating system. Atlantic came out on a Saturday and the charge was around $180 I think. Seems reasonable for the service and was looking forward to it.
When they arrived I was told that my chimney couldn't be cleaned and it needed to be replaced. I was then told that there would now be just a $99 charge for then to give me a quote/estimate to have my chimney replaced/fixed. I also couldn't refuse it because he said they already came out on a Saturday.
So, besides this being a complete bait and switch of service, no where do they forewarn their customers this could happen. So my advice to any homeowners using Atlantic would be to make sure your chimney is not old or you could also be paying $99 for a estimate that could be gotten for free elsewhere.
