Wayne Goodwin the NCDMV commissioner should be ashamed of himself. The online services for license renewal goes down everyday according to the employees at the DMV. People have to run around town trying to get someone to give them an honest answer. We are paying taxes on our cars and paying for online services only to not receive the items we paid for. They also have no disclaimer posted about this process. It is unfair to take our money and not deliver quality service. Where is all the money going?

I'm originally from Illinois, which is not known for its honesty however, our D.O.T. was nowhere near as crooked as this one. Absolutely ridiculous fees and even interest? Since when did the government decide that they needed to charge interest?

I already filed 2290 form but I received letter from State of NC Department of Transportation .Letter says I do not have 2290 .
