Do not under any circumstances do business with this horrible company. Whether you are a renter or an owner looking for a management company, run far, far away! They do not care about human life, the owners property, or the law. We went 8 days without water in December, and My rental company thought we could do laundry, take showers, do dishes and have drinking water, on 4 cases of water.... FOR 8 DAYS! Oh, and we had a child under 2 at the time. They might as well have told us to go die!
Another time, we had called because the water wasn't working. The well tech came and said that our neighbors over use of water was what caused the outage. MY rental company then proceeded to tell us that we were responsible for the charge, even though it was not our fault.
Another time, the leaver on the toilet broke, and it took them 13 days to fix it. the only thing that got them to do their job, was to embarrass them when they had potential new renters look at the place.
They impose "inspections" to the property, which I guess is legal...? As others have said, they invaded our privacy when they did it. (They took pictures of my personal belongings, they looked in my closet!!!!) Another problem was that they harassed me about how my furniture was arranged, which is messed up enough in itself, however, at the time, I had a sick 3 month old, and my husband had almost died. Its pretty awful to do that to a mother, who almost lost her husband. Their excuse for doing the inspections was "we have had hoarders before". I don't know when property management companies were suddenly licensed to practice medicine /psychology in the state of Washington.
I don't know what the point of these inspections are, when the company fails to fix anything!
We live next to a quarry. The detonations that would take place would occasionally cause problems. Once when they did a detonation, something happened with the well. Our water started making us sick. We informed the property company of what had happened, and they told us to go buy a water filter. They wouldn't even come look at it. Well 3 years later, the water is so bad that we started having skin infections. We literally have to go to a hotel to get a clean shower. We smell, and our clothes do not get clean. Frogs have begun coming out of all the faucets and other water fixtures. I'm pretty sure the well tank was cracked during a detonation. Its just another thing we were ignored about.
I tried to inform them of a sinkhole forming in the yard, but they wouldn't listen to me, and now I'm sure that it's going to cost thousands to fix it. (It might even be related to the well issue)
This review is to be continued, because there is much, much, more!
update 7/19: The most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. Employee called my husband to berate him about an un registered vehicle. They accused him of lying to one of the employees, hence "throwing her under the bus". (My husband said he was selling the vehicles, he never claimed it was registered.) Before my husband could even respond, the employee HUNG UP ON HIM!!!! My husband tried contacting a more rational employee to get answers/ ask questions about what the heck happened. (He thought at first, it was just a miss- communication.) A few minuets later, the employee who hung up on him then texted my husband telling him not to talk to the more rational employee. I guess that is what this company considerers professionalism! This is not only unprofessional, its childish behavior!
Another incident happened when they hired a plow company to plow our driveway without our permission and charged us for it. They screwed up the fence on the property and broke several expensive planters. I will not pay for guardians damages!
Another thing that was irritating was that we were trying to get poison hemlock removed from the property. They refused. Poison hemlock takes 8 years to germinate. Those plants now are from 4 years before we even moved in! I will not pay!
