$50k remodel of first floor.  Pro: Good quality workmanship by his guys.  Cons: As the General Contractor, being paid a premium, didn't manage well. Many mistakes with kitchen counter and kitchen island (installed sink backwards, counter had to be completely redone; delays of several weeks with island due incorrect size).  Does not communicate work plans, many delays.  Often went days with no work in the house, all while house was a mess with all the dust.  Doesn't communicate by phone or text, only email.
