I am a property owner and hired Mike's to do a fence project for me. They took my deposit of $3000 and put some posts up with the plan to come back on a another day to finish the fence due to other work being done on the property. Now I can't get anyone to call me back. My landscape contractor and myself have tried calling and emailing multiple times. I am now going through the process of filing a claim through the CCB to get some compensation. What a pain! Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Their work was fantastic, and very reasonably priced. Mike and his head crewman Travis were great to work with. They were quick and efficient and my fence and gates are beautiful. They stayed tidy while putting up the fence and left the yard looking better than it did before they came. I look forward to enjoying the beauty of the new fence all summer long, and I plan to use them again when I do my deck. I strongly recommend this great company to anyone looking for a new fence or deck.

In a 5 star world, Mike’s Custom Fencing & Decking gets 10 stars from me.
I struggle to find time to write reviews regarding any type of companies I’ve done business with, as I’m just too busy. But in this case I felt compelled to make time to publish my thoughts on Mike’s Custom Fencing & Decking.
I openly admit I’m somewhat of a perfectionist, which I understand can be challenging to please.
In choosing a contractor to build both my fencing and decking projects on the same property – and I might add a pretty complicated deck layout that I couldn’t do without – I had several contractors bid on both projects, which for them probably felt more like a rigorous interview process. But I was planning to spend a lot of money, so I had the right to set the standards that earn my business.
This said, it’s fair to say I met a few pretty sharp contractors whom I’m sure might all do nice work. But the owner of Mike’s Customer Fencing & Decking, who of course is named Mike, came across more knowledgeable and detail oriented than anyone else I met with. After meeting with him I was convinced who I wanted handling these projects. And the outcome was nothing short of “amazing.” He and his team are every bit the perfectionists I am, and their craftsmanship is a flat out work of art! If that isn’t enough, the crew is so nice and politely mannered, a couple days into the project and my wife and I insisted on having them stay for dinner. Grilling pork chops for this group was an honor!!
Meanwhile, every single person that has been to my property almost instantly asks me “who did this work?”
