Bob answered the phone on a Friday when they are normally closed. I was able to bring my car in first thing Monday morning, they diagnosed it and I walked out of there same day with a $283 bill for a new solenoid and service instead of a new transmission. Was incredibly grateful for their speed, integrity, and will be getting all of my service is done through them in regards to transmissions in the future. I had a rear main seal leak on a pickup. Columbia Transmission attempted to fix the leak twice. On the second attempt, they damaged the exhaust system shielding because the technician saved time by not remove the exhaust cross pipe. When Columbia reinstalled the transmission, they routed the wiring harness next to the exhaust down pipe instead of in the factory location on top of the transmission. When the rear main continued to leak, I took the truck to a brand specialist who repair the leak, addressed the reassembly issues caused by Columbia, and saved the main wiring harness from melting. If you have a common domestic vehicle, they may be competent for that repair. But I had a bad experience with their work on a non-domestic brand pickup. Service: Transmission
