Meet the DoctorDr. Joshua DavidJoshua David, ND, is an experienced aesthetics and regenerative medicine specialist, as well as a naturopathic primary care doctor, who specializes in treating motor vehicle accident injuries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. With nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. David owns and operates Rise2Health in Portland, Oregon.After graduating from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology, Dr. David studied naturopathic medicine at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.Today, Dr. David focuses on holistic treatments and non-surgical regenerative medicine to provide his patients with the best care possible. His areas of expertise include prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, thyroid therapy, and weight management. He also provides aesthetic services, such as Botox and dermal fillers.Since 2001 Dr. David has studied, adopted and specialized in the therapies of hormone optimization and regenerative medicine. He has incorporatedprolotherapy and platelet rich plasma (PRP) into his practice from the start of his career as a physician. Dr. David holds certifications from WorldLink Medical and the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine (AOAPRM).As an avid athlete himself, Dr. David has a passion for optimizing performance and recovery from injury. The two areas of hormone optimization and regenerative injection therapy is proven to be very effective to keep patients at there active best.When providing treatment, Dr. David targets the root of the problem, rather than masking the symptoms. He does this whether patients come to his office with whiplash, back pain, a torn rotator cuff, or a hormone imbalance.Dr. David is a member of the Oregon Pain Society and the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He also serves on the board of the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians and is one of the only physicians in Oregon to hold advanced certification from World Link Medical.Dr. David is a father of two children. He enjoys spending time with his wonderful son and his amazing daughter. Dr. David loves the outdoors and takes any opportunity to spend time snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, camping and fishing/hunting. He's a native to the Pacific Northwest.
