Hi Brian, Thank you for reaching out even though you are a bit frustrated with the drivers being ‘in the way’. It’s always great to hear positive things however we are also looking at ways to improve where we can. I’m not sure if you are aware but 2nd avenue is the only way in and the only way out for larger delivery trucks. The larger trucks cannot utilize any other exit therefore there will be back ups along 2nd avenue. The area in which our company is located is zoned industrial. An industrial zone, by definition, is a zone in which specializes in the production and distribution of goods. Our company is open 24 hours a day so that we can receive, warehouse, and deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to your favorite store or restaurant. Trust me, our drivers are anxious to either get out on their route or get back to the warehouse to park their truck. It may appear to you that they are intentionally just sitting in their truck but most likely they are waiting on someone else to move. I’m sure this can be frustrating, especially for those who live at The yard, however we are operating in a zone which is appropriate for our company of 45 years. We love our community and work hard to maintain positive relationships with everyone.
