The service is pretty good until my tire went flat after one time driving the car, they told me that they wouldve known if the tire was low so I mustve done something and I needed to call AAA or find a tire shop, they offered no refund or help. Also the car smelled like pee.

Excellent service and very easy return to PDX airport. All Dollar personnel in Seattle & Portland (but ESPECIALLY in PDX ) were so quick, helpful & friendly- especially when I called to make sure the correct credit card was used to settle the bill ( I had changed it upon return). Would definitely use again!

High pressure sales at counter.
Calling direct # on folio got me quickly to real, local person who could resolve issue.
An hour after return, got call saying I'd left behind an item! (Let's hope it's still there when I return today to claim it)

Gentleman asked me numerous questions on where I lived because my DL was from out of state. Proceeded to ask me what my shipping address was in case they need to mail me something ( didnt know I was at the post office). Been renting cars for years in multiple cities never been treated this way. Definitely felt judge talking to the clerk. I was denied a car rental because my DL didnt scan?? Literally was pulled over by Seattle police prior to catching my train to Portland and my DL was scanned by police and it was valid. Clerk proceeds to ask me if I have another DL? Terrible experience terrible customer service!

I was having trouble renting a car from another company and decided to try dollar car rental. Im so glad I did! I received fast, friendly service. They were able to work through the issues I was having with the other company. Michelle was AMAZING! Because of this experience, I will give my business to this company the next time I need to rent a car!
