I decided to give it a second chance and stayed again and for the second time when I left and delivered the room correctly they charged me with an extra $400 arguing that the 2 pillows on the sofa were damaged, my response was we didn't even use the sofa for the reason that I was peed on and it's the truth, I honestly told them and the receptionist very rudely said that I had to pay, to which I repeated that it was not correct because that sofa was not even used.
He clarified that it was the second time, the first was a $200 charge without warning, they only do it and again without any real reason.
Summary we will not return there

My stay at Plantation Suites & Conference Center on Mustang Island was overall pleasant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the island. The complimentary breakfast offered a decent selection to start the day.
However, the only downside was the price, which I found to be a bit high compared to similar accommodations in the area. While the quality of the hotel was commendable, I would suggest considering the value proposition for future guests.
Despite this, the attentive staff and convenient location made my stay enjoyable. If budget permits, Plantation Suites & Conference Center is worth considering for its comfortable accommodations and convenient amenities."
