Went today to get a new grill. I imagine that Home Depot must have some sort of a student jobs program. I say this cause the 2 geniuses that were in charge of loading the new grill into my SUV must go to Harvard. What took 15 mins to pick out and pay for a grill turned into another 40 mins of them trying to solve a extremely hard geometry problem. Between talking about the days top topics such as what's for lunch and arguing how to try to fit the grill in differ t positions it was determined that I try to maybe get a bigger vehicle. It was then suggested I go in and buy bungee cords. It took a sweet old lady to come out and enlighten the road scholars that if they took it to the tool rental area they could use a tool to take off one of the side tables and it would fit. Off we went to the tool rental upon arrival they were greeted by a young female co worker. They each took turns impressing her with there impressive verbal skills. The one that was clearly high was especially interested in the prospects of possibilities. After 10 mins of verbal sparing the pre med students got a really nice older employee out of the back and he was able to solve the equation of a screw driver and removal of the side table. I will be back to Home Depot it is very convenient and ppl are generally helpful. If I do have to transport a big idea again I will make sure to purchase a bigger vehicle and avoid Frick and Frack in the future.

Went for fluorescent bulbs and had to wait 5 mins while an employee was paged. No one came, so I went to the service desk where I found 3 employees. Two were sitting on the counters and a 3rd was standing there all talking amongst themselves. I excused myself by interrupting them and asking for help in electrical, one on the counter stated they left at 4. The one standing asked what I was looking for and offered to help even though it wasn't him responsibility. He helped me find the bulbs. I thanked him and went to the self check-out and was on my way. I wish more younger employees were willing to help even though it wasn't their job.. very nice young man.
