Receptionist Angelina extremely rude, very fresh. I must say I found no compassion regarding your pets life unless your money was paid not a dollars less- how cold. I asked for call backs, pictures , ( you are not allowed to visit so dr Adams said he would send me a picture) which I repeatedly called, the day before discharge at 5pm I got a picture and report. I also asked for the foreign object as a sovenier still waiting. I want to see what was removed! Unless you have minimum of $10,000 this is not your place- Im sorry to say. Not enough money no surgery. Very sad I struggled to get over $12,000.

Giving this one star because there's no option for zero stars. Horrible experience- stay away! They let you wait in your car in the back of the building for hours and hours and watch a van pull up to load deceased pets for disposal with no ETA of when your pet will receive care. Meanwhile, your pet continues to suffer in agony while they tend to other "critical cases" that show up after you've been waiting for 3 hours. No process for prioritizing your pet with no communication with you while you're waiting. Called them to ask for updates and they hang up. Look for alternatives and stay away from here.

I took my 1 year old pitbull here for entropion. After consultation with Dr. Kim, he underwent corrective surgery which was very successful. Dr. Kim, Donna, and staff were excellent with communication and care. I am truly grateful.

I honestly don't understand why some people left bad reviews here.
Doctors at LIVS saved 2(two) of my fur babies.
Dr. Roynard saved my baby boy/dachshund named Lucky 5+ years ago. Lucky was diagnosed of IVDD by his primary doctor & he referred to us to go to LIVS ASAP. We were told LIVS is our best shot as this hospital offers very best doctors with modern medical equipment & technology.
We got there the same day & the front desk team at LIVS were very friendly, professional, and attentive and did a great job. They made an arrangement to have us see Dr. Roynard less than an hour. Dr. Roynard checked Luckys condition right away & diagnosed of aggressive form of IVDD which required surgery immediately. It was later in the afternoon when we got the news & it was humanly impossible to perform the surgery that same day in my thoughts. But, Dr. Roynard didnt procrastinate & gathered his surgery team come together & performed the surgery on my baby boy the same day. By the time when surgery was done, it was past 10:30PM or so & thats when I got the news from Dr. Roynard on the phone that the surgery went successful. Lucky was able to fully recover & 5 years later from that day, Lucky is still living a very happy & healthy life & enjoying every single second of his life. Walking, running, playing with his four legged friends at home.
Just about 3 months ago, our baby girl/ Golden Retriever named Tae Yang got sick. She wasnt able to walk all of a sudden. We first took her to our primary doctor right away. He diagnosed her issue of having hip dysplasia& referred to us to go to LIVS ASAP. When we got there, we had to call the LIVS front desk & I believe it was Grace who answered my call. I was in panic mode since Tae Yang was in excruciating pain & wasnt able to walk. Grace made me at ease & made an arrangement to have Dr. Marinos staff pick up Tae Yang right away. Weve only waited less than 20 minutes or so. They checked her condition & Dr. Marino diagnosed Tae Yangs condition right away. It was severe form of generic hip dysplasia. Dr. Marino & his staff gave us 3 options to choose from & helped us to explain each options very clearly & thoroughly. I didnt know which options to choose from & made them repeat the same thing over and over again, but they were kind enough to explain to me in details of each options. I finally made my option & they were able to perform the surgery on her 2 days later. Tae Yang was discharged from the hospital 3 days later. The surgery went very successful that she was able to walk out the hospital walking almost normally. Not even limping. It is almost 3 months after the surgery now, we are very happy to see her recovering very well and back to herself again.
We are forever grateful & don't have any words to express how much we appreciate Dr. Roynard, Dr Marino & their staff for it.
We cannot say enough about the professionalism and compassion that Dr. Roynard, Dr. Marino & their veterinary staff exhibit. In addition their extensive knowledge and proactive treatments, they are genuinely good people who care about their four-legged patients (and their family!)
We would highly recommend LIVS and will continue to take our 3 dogs for their services here if any medical crisis ever happens again! We hope that doesnt happen, but if god forbid something bad happens, we wont hesitate to take them here.
We live in other state & takes long travel time to get to this hospital, but it doesn't matter to us. We are so glad we were able to find the good doctors & happy to know our fur babies are in good hands.
