I love everything about this practice. We have been patients for 4.5 years and I can say I have never once been disappointed. Honestly every provider has treated us with compassion, understanding, and love! & we have a child with a chronic diagnosis. Once Dr. G had to call 911 for our child & the staff entertained my 4 year old while I tried to help our very sick 1 year old.
They get us in for sick visits literally the same day all of the time! I am so very shocked at so many negative reviews. Truly we love CCP Mt. Lebanon!!!

I called to make an appointment, hoping to have a doctor closer to home. The receptionist was rude and refused to schedule me, stating that I had to continue with the UPMC CCP practice I had visited in the past.
If thats how they treat potential new patients, I can only imagine how poorly they treat existing patients.

I have an almost 1 y/o who has been coming here since birth and we have had a great experience. Contrary to what others have said, I have found the nurses to be extremely friendly, detailed, and helpful when I have called with questions or concerns. They have really taken their time with me. We have also loved all of the providers we have seen, and trust them completely. We haven't had an issue with wait times. I was concerned by some of the other reviews before enrolling my son in this practice so just wanted to share that our experience has been great and we would recommend it. [I do want to note that the line was busy for a while this morning when I tried to call...but I got through after about 15 minutes and was able to get my son in for a sick visit today--so didn't end up being a big deal!].

The doctors are good- if you have the opportunity to see one. My children have been patients there for 18 years. Much has changed- for the worst, in their practice. Not sure if this is due to UPMC, the office, or across the board.
Youre unable to schedule a visit to see your doctor of choice unless it is for the annual well visit.
I called to schedule an appointment for my child with the pediatrician theyre familiar with; child isnt sick but I have some concerns. I was told by a nurse as well as two office staff that Im unable to make an appointment. I have to bring my child to the morning walk in clinic and wait in a tiny waiting room full of sick children. My child isnt sick.
Or you can call same day and *fingers crossed* get a sick appointment if one is still available (those are limited).
My main issue with those two options - You arent able to see the dr of your choice, let alone a doctor at all sometimes but a PA. You will be handed to whom ever is there at the time.
It is absolutely absurd one cant call to make an appointment, in advance, with the doctor of choice.
Side note: Majority of the time the office staff is extremely rude, especially over the phone. And I agree with other reviewers- when speaking with the nurses they push you to take your child to urgent care or the er. Which to me is unacceptable.
