Moved out of state, house was for sale, had to keep the water on because of selling and inspections and get sent a final bill, significantly higher then any bill before, higher then what a final bill should be (I understand it was 1.5 month bill). Water was not being used, there was no leak. Called to question, as no one had been living in the house for 1.5 months. Was told thats what it is, and thats that. Called multiple times, staff wouldnt do anything, refused to look into it more, are threatening to send me to collections. So now Im just stuck paying a bill, on water that wasnt even used.

Unfortunately on Tuesday Kynden broke his arm and suffered a concussion while swinging at Schlanger Park controlled by the City of Pittsburg. While super high in the swing the chain snapped at the joint sending him flying back, I was standing in front of him while my friend was behind the swings pushing her younger children on the other section next to him, so we were unable to react to catch him with how fast it occured. My son is tough and when he screamed in pain and his legs gave out, I immediately picked him up, ran to my car, and took him to the ER at Via Christi.
Pittsburg has dodged my calls every day I have called, so heres my warning to parents. This swing could very well still be broken, and who knows how many are not being serviced. This could be you or worse, so if the City does not care, Ill care for you.
