This so called appeals court is a shame. In my experience, this court favors trial court judges regardless of what the law is. The court is made up of former trial court judges who favor trial court judges. There is no hope for any justice with these people in black robes. Appeal against trial court judge Pamela Gates was denied wrongfully just because the appellant was pro per.

My Parental rights were terminated by the Juvenile Court. My appeals attorney didn't file because, according to him...the only way he was going to file it if he found frivolous issues and only going based on his own determination by only going on what the Juvenile Court has on file. Long story short, my "appeal" was dismissed. So I wanted to figure out why....after researching, comes to find out that Arizona Appeals Court is the same place where the Foster Care Review is located. Makes me wonder what the hell is really going on. Now I know why they denied me and me mom from attending my own children's meeting. One of the staff, told me and my mom wasn't an interested party.

Arizona Court of Appeals Division 1 is an extremely poorly run court system. Only in a red state like Arizona would there be such a poorly run court system that is overwhelmingly partisan and pro business. Division 1 gets cases from DES and took almost two years to decide my unemployment case. Extremely slow process with unprofessional court clerks who routinely give out incorrect information regarding cases. Judge Peter Swann is dreadful, incompetent, and completely ignored Arizona Revised Statues in my case. Peter Swann has to be the worst judge in the history of Arizona court of appeals. Arizona has shown it does not care about or respect it's tax payers and workers. Arizona protects businesses not workers. Complete Kangaroo court
