Some of the benefits such as discounts are good. The problem is if your a courtesy clerk you can not make more then the states minimum wage. The Union tries to take credit for tying courtesy clerks salary to state minimum wage. Nobody will work at the federal minimum wage. In fact because the contract ties courtesy clerks salary to the state min one cant ever get a raise beyond that. I been there over 3 years no raise no reviews because of contract. In fact the dues courtesy clerks pay got other workers above minimum wage and left the courtesy clerks state minimum wage. Robbing Peter to pay Paul. Treat all workers equally.

Everyone wants to complain about how bad the union is but in the end of the day is the workers.If your union is not working is because you havent put in the time and effort to make changes.

Don't bother to call the union rep, after leaving four messages over the past six weeks I have yet to receive a return phone call. They are quick to take your dues but have zero interest in actually representing a member or even bothering to return a simple phone call. Do yourself a favor and avoid employment with any company that falls under their umbrella.

Does not care about their workers and will not fight at all. Tries to make it up by giving benefits. Disgraceful how this has been going on for years
