image After a three week stay my dad needed to regain some strength and had to go here for rehab. If I could give it a negative star I would. The one great thing is their occupational therapist and the physical therapist are pretty intense. Everything else is awful.
You first come in and there are poorly repaired holes in the walls and an overall horrible dingy look of the place. Yeah, seeing that I would definitely reserve judgement. Looks aren't always everything! ....
Apparently, the EMT wheeled my dad in dropped my dad on the bed, dropped four bags of stuff, none of which were his and ran out. Someone came in said something along the lines of, hi I'm leaving for the day, we will fill all this paperwork out when I come in tomorrow, and bounced. Then he hit the call button to try and help him to go to the bathroom. 2-3 hours or more later he called the front desk to finally get some help.
I get upset hearing about a bunch of different problems, one of which is his roommate going through his stuff at 1 am in the morning. I call while I'm upset, phone ring about 30 times. Then find an email and send a.. mostly polite email to the administrator. For the heck of it I call again, get told I called the wrong department 4 times and get transfered. I finally on the 15th ring get a CNA Tony who talks me down and explains what's going on.
Administration contacted me after and set up a care appointment with my mom so she could talk to the heads of the departments to answer any questions she has. They said all the right things addressed some of our concerns which was nice. Made some movements which was good.
There was still a cigarette butt sitting in the corner of my dad's room for half the time he was there. Which only got picked up because my dad pointed it out. He still had to sneak into his wheel chair to go to the bathroom because no one responded to his call button, repeatedly, while he was there.
Then, apparently when they had the care meeting they were talking about an appointment my dad had. My mom asked if he had to get a ride. They said no he willtransport him.
Come to the day of the appointment my dad's dressed and ready and none of the staff knows about it. I asked my dad who had mentioned it? He said someone on the staff called his room phone and asked him what the appointment was the day before.
I call the administration and got told by someone, no the administrator wouldn't have said anything about my dad having an appointment. They could transport my dad but he's not down for anything.
I don't know if the company understands them or what. But you all are terrible. Tonys ok. And the physical therapy gets people moving.

image Do not bring your family member here if you care about them. This place is understaffed and dirty and the administration is complacent in their responses to us , they have an answer for all of their foolishness. At this point were getting lip service with no results. I no longer trust anyone here to keep their word based on how were being treated.
