I have been a resident in Sherwood Crossings since 2018 and I have been an outstanding tenant that paid rent on time, no disturbances nor issues while I resided here, carried myself and my unit cleaned and in good faith.
I have noticed that they will do favors for a specific tenants and will be inconsistent with the lease terms and agreement. I am terminating my lease to relocate and they are trying to report me to collections because even though the lease provides the terms for breaking the lease, they are trying to charge additional and everything goes through corporate. While living in this apartment complex, I have learned that it is not recommendable to live here long-term with how they treat their tenants and its really about the money here and not working with their tenants with being a corporation.
The leasing office can be difficult to get in contact with at times to address matters, and they can have predatory behavior with certain tenants as my neighbor had vacated her apartment unit one month after signing her lease and she was able to terminate her lease with paying for one month and they attempted to charge me for two months.
I would recommend this place as a short term and not long term. The turnover rate is very high here with people constantly moving in and out.
For a one bedroom, the rent raises each year and for what is being paid, it isnt worth it.
