The church is very beautiful,,,, it is a shame that with so many Hispanics in this area, few people go to mass.

When I took care of my Mom, I lived just a few blocks fr St. Thomas Church. Fr. Shields was Pastor then. I have never met a human being so humble, compassionate and loving toward the diverse community. First Catholic Church ever. Judgement free zone.

Is Father Carmine still there? I sure hope he is! The blessing he gave to Rocky while he was on his way to the Spectrum that night to fight Apollo Creed was truly a gift from God!
"Hey yo! Father Carmine! It's me, Rocky Balboa!"
Furthermore, it was here where Rocky and Adrian got married! May Adrian RIP. To those who don't know, Rocky has recently opened up an Italian restaurant in her name to keep Adrian's memory alive! He's not perfect, but Rocky is a wonderful man!
