I've rented vehicles on several occasions from Boutique Air up by the airport simply because I thought they were the only local option. They've never been the best, but they were at least functional.
After reserving my last vehicle a month in advance, they decided to wait until the night before I was supposed to pick it up to tell me they only rent cars to prop who fly in, not locals.
Since I was a local resident and couldn't provide a flight number, I was informed I was unable to rent their vehicles and my rental was cancelled. I've searched their website from top to bottom and still can't find this policy.
I called My Own Auto Sales minutes before they closed and was able to secure a vehicle for the next morning, even though it was a Sunday and they weren't scheduled to be open.
The vehicle ended up having an uncharged battery that wouldn't turn over, and I was instantly switched to a different car (and given a discount for the issue). They went above and beyond any expectations, and I will definitely be using them again.

We were stuck with a broken vehicle in 100+ degrees and when I called to get a vehicle not only was this an excellent value but they saved the day and picked me up from my broken car. I felt that they truly cared.
