image I had to change my review of PawtucketFalls after several problem have occurred at this facility over the years!. My paralyzed sister-in-law was blamed for removing her feeding tube a few times and she hasn't moved in years since her stroke. Now with the State takeover

image I wouldn't even give this facility any stars because money gets stolen food is horrible there is no communication between staff they don't even have recliners for rehab patients they even lose medication the patients will probably get more sick than getting better. I recommend no one send family or friends to this place.

image If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place almost KILLED my father because of the lack of care he rec'd. The nurses and CNA's were very rude especially after I complained to the social worker of the place as well of the director of nursing. The staff made my father feel like he didn't need the help he needed after having left hip replacement surgery. He pulled a muscle in his arm while there and was told by a nurse that he was there for his hip and not his arm after he told them he needed assistance with wiping himself. My father had to put on a brief/pull up after he pulled the emergency cord for assistance with cleaning himself and was literally ignored and left there. He only saw a doctor one time while there and was told many times by the PT staff that his swollen legs are fine when obviously they were not. I asked for compression socks several times for my father to get the swelling down in his legs and was ignored by the staff. Pushing the button for assistance was a joke. It took almost 8 minutes for anyone to come and see what my father needed. Even when he told the staff he couldn't breath and needed his inhaler they still took their sweet time. On 02/11/2024 my father was rushed to the emergency room because he couldn't breath. They found they he had pneumonia and had so much fluid in him he was basically suffocating. Calling and complaining to the administration staff is useless because they will do nothing to help you. The place also smells like stale cigarettes' and urine and their elevators haven't been inspected since 2021. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. Because of this horrific place my father is traumatized by how he was treated. You're better off taking care of your loved one at your own home before you ever send them to this hell hole

image I was here. At Pawtucket Falls. Because I had a very serious stroke August 31st of 2020 at barely 38.
I am extremely poor. My mom and I chose this place, because 1. My insurance wasn't covering my Therapy at another facility in New Bedford Mass. I made it very clear, and apparent that I caught COVID-19 somewhat early in this Pandemic, and smoked Cigarettes. This facility promised that they would get me the necessary treatments for that issue.
And they promised my mom, and I they would help fill my SSDI Disability out. Two unfulfilled promises. My lungs are destroyed.
Yes. My stupidity for smoking cigs while having COVID-19. But for real. This place let's some CNA's do whatever they want. The Union only fights for the workers. Not the regular, long term, and short term residents. There are wonderful CNA's, and workers here at this facility. Workers like Anne-Marie, Judy, Dawn in Activities. House Keepers Ashley, April, Gloria, CNA's Nancy, Yozlin, Alpha, Kim, Jackie, Suzie, Doris. Med-Tech's Maria, Sairy, Nurse Kristina, Director of Nursing Jackie. Social Worker Michelle. I know it's hard to get people to work in the Nursing field but come on. Monitor who comes from the Nursing Agency. Stop letting some CNA's get away with bloody murder. It shouldn't be that some CNA's can say Residents who need a diaper change don't get one when they ask for one, or when they ask to go to the bathroom.
No wonder why UTI's run rampant at this place. Because some CNA's are lazy, and don't there job.
I have been out of this facility for almost 3 months. I get treated with respect at my Group Home.
My Cellulitis on my right ankle/calf is almost healed.
I do not recommend this facility at all. They need to fully change what they do here.
