image The way they speak to local Hawaiians is really quite horrible. I would definitely not recommend working with them.

image I first met Vickie Mullins on SEP 17, 2019. I had seen that she had sold a couple of houses in my community. Their sale seemed to be done quickly. I decided to call her to explore the possibility of selling my house. I was immediately impressed by her attentiveness to my thoughts and her calm and expert advice. She applied no pressure as I have known other realtors to do to obtain the sale. She provided me preliminary information, followed up a short while later with additional market activity.
We waited throughout the winter months which allowed me prepare my house and observe the Paso Robles housing market. Vickie continued to be responsive to my questions and requests for some direction. Her demeanor was patient, reassuring, positive and knowledgeable.
We finally agreed to place my house on the MLS. Once she had an offer she was again reassuring and guiding through the process. She certainly displayed expertise in the realty process in an efficient and supportive manner. She stayed in contact when needed. She gave direction when required. She followed the process to completion which made us comfortable and positive that all was being handled for our benefit with real knowledge and experience.
Thank you, Vickie, for your guidance and expertise.
We couldn’t have chosen a better Realtor!

image A review for Kristina Takken,
AGENT - DISCRIMINATORY - VETERANS
Buyer beware…. here’s the story
I am a 40 year military Air Force veteran participating in 2 active combat zones. I happened to personally know the owner of the home Kristina was representing. When I left the military, he was my landlord. I rented a small granny unit in San Luis Obispo. When I got married, I got my own place but parted ways with the owner and his wife on very good terms.
My wife and I had the unfortunate opportunity to put an offer on a home that Kristina represented in AG.
We submitted our full price offer to this agent the day after the house went on the market.
3 REASONS I WOULD FIRMLY SCORE THIS AGENT “ D- “
LOW VOLUME EXPERIENCE - Having sold 2 houses in the last 12 months? Poor ‘pulse on the market experience'
EDUCATION - This agent lacked even the most basic VA knowledge, towards my agent and our lender. (on a recorded line) she wasn’t aware that VA Loans required ZERO money down, that VA Loans close easily within the pre agreed upon timelines
MISREPRESENTED OUR OFFER - owner of the house called me specifically and told me what / Kristina was telling him. Specifically: 1. “VA loans often don’t close” 2. They are not strong offers” 3. WITHHELD from the owner that we had even offered a good faith deposit of $20,000, and could close in 21, 30, 45 or whenever the owner preferred.
If you are a real estate agent on the Central Coast with zero RECENT VA Experience, I would suggest getting an update and START closing some houses. VA loans close often with less hiccups, underwriting restrictions, and hurdles than conventional loans. They close within as little as 21 days, (even some as little as 18 days.) Lastly, the ONLY difference to the seller of a home accepting a VA offer, is that the seller has to pay for termite repair. They are strong offers!
My particular agent within has closed 3 different VA loans ALL WITH DIFFERENT LENDERS in 25 days or less, just in the last 4 months.
NO TIME LEFT - We quickly tried to respond with an all cash offer but it was too late, agent had selected another offer.
If you are a US Military Veteran and have been discriminated against by this agent or any agent, I suggest you contact US.GOV and file a formal complaint as I have. The state of CA offers SPECIFIC protection for Veterans in Housing Discrimination.
AND FINALLY THE MOST IRONIC, HILARIOUS PART OF THE STORY
2 Weeks after this agent had selected another offer, our agent called Kristina and asked if everything was still on track….and that we were still very interested in this home. Kristina then lied to my agent and said that the new buyer money had already been wired to escrow and everything was on track.
So…… shortly after, I PERSONALLY GET A CALL FROM THE OWNER! “Mike, how do i get out of this thing! I made a mistake, I’d like to sell you my house, the buyers my agent selected, haven’t even wired the money for the good faith deposit, I keep calling the escrow company and am trying to figure out what's going on ”!
Long story short, I told the owner (selling his house to someone else) that he needed to educate his agent (Kristina) to send the selected buyer a “notice to perform” He did just that and finally their money came in. Just hilarious that we had to educate the owner and his agent how to properly sell his house. Experienced agents send ‘notice to performs’ on the 1st day of escrow to minimize any issues.
Such a ridiculous story and what an embarrassing excuse of an agent
