The office staff were all very professional and friendly. My visit was due to flooding of my home from the Ohio river. I wasnt informed until the evening of 4-3 that I needed to evacuate now, as the River was over the bank and would continue flooding the area. I havent driven at night time in 6-7 years, so the drive over to the hotel was extremely stressful for me. The hotel allowed my late arrival. One thing I really appreciated, was the way they spaced the hotel guests. We werent on top of each other. I was able to park in front of my room which was great. The room was quiet. Only negative : The roomespecially the carpeting, needs a really deep cleaning. On the positive side: I booked from Wednesday evening thru Saturday. After finding out the water was receding a day earlier than expected I checked out on Friday morning to get back home to see the damage. I had paid up front and the young lady wasnt sure if I could get a refund for the day and a half I wouldnt be there. After waiting less than a week, I was happy that the manager gave me a credit. I will stay at this Travel Lodge in Parkersburg, WV again, as I felt safe, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet.

Absolutely the MOST DISGUSTING room I've ever stayed in.. Hands down. I'm not even writing a list. If you're homeless or on drugs it's a good spot to lay it down but we are neither.

A very quiet place. The staff is friendly.
