Richard Glasscock is an honest man, and his labor charge is lower than other places around. When a local dealership wanted $450 to install a rear brake light so that the car could pass inspection, Richard fixed it for $75 installed. Richard also told me once that he does not mark up the parts much if at all, because he feels a responsibility to help folks who need their transportation.
I have encouraged Richard a number of times to raise his hourly labor rate which is less than half the local dealership's, but he won't. He said that he makes enough to take care of his family and he wants to help his customers as much as he can, because in this area he knows many of them struggle to make ends meet.
Richard attributes both his business' success and his responsibility to his customers to his relationship with Jesus Christ. In that small community, I have never heard anyone say Richard Glasscock did anyone dirty. He always goes above and beyond to help every one of his customers.
