We have used RNS on numerous occasions to service our 92 Ford Ranger. We have had wonderful experiences until this week. We suspected the fuel pump went out after the truck died on the side of the road. We had the truck towed to RNS. It took them a week to get to it. They confirmed the fuel pump was the problem. Instead of replacing the fuel pump, they changed the fuel pump fuse only, which cost $7 and charged us $300 labor. They did not replace the fuel pump, which they said was the problem. Drove the truck home and could tell the problem was not fixed. Less than 24 hours later, the truck died on the side of the road again. I refuse to take the truck back and get charged another $300 for labor from them to now change the pump, which was the problem in the first place. Jeff, the owner, told my husband RNS does not want to work on any vehicles older than 2000. I guess we won't bother them anymore.
UPDATE: Last week we received a full refund from RNS. Forgiveness extended.
