We decided to install new flooring instead of refinishing our worn wood floors. All I can say is this company delivered what they promised. The new floors like great. Stu did a great job on the install. I would use these folks again so don't be afraid to consult and hire these folks

I highly recommend Shelby for refinishing hardwood. We have Red Oak hardwood and wanted a light color with satin finish. Richie, Turk, and Shelby did a great job sanding and staining the hardwood and spent 2 extra days of sanding because of the unevenness of the hardwood due to moisture retention. We couldn't be happier with the results. Shelby is professional, experienced, and takes pride in satisfying a client. The price for the refinishing was very fair and reasonable. You should seriously consider this company before making a final decision.

The overall project came out "ok". I hired them because Shelby the owner came and quoted it himself. He is very likable, easy going. I paid $2400 for 710 sqft which I thought was semi-reasonable. The problem arose in the detail of the work and the customer service and attitude of the person in charge of the actual work. I kept telling him to fill in the cracks that were too apart and he kept brushing me off saying the cracks were needed because they were needed for wood to shift. This went back an forth a couple of times. At the end  I did not have a good experience with this worker, and ended having a small argument over stepping in my own wood floors when the wood was already DRY and ready for the last finish coat. Mind you at this time I had seen both of the workers go in and out with shoes. So I put on booties and went on to inspect the work. As he show up I was walking about the house and he had a fit because i was on the floors. I told him my house I will walk on the wet floor if wanted. So, to say the least he was not a pleasant person to deal with. At the end they ended up missing some key areas that did not get sanded down correctly, including one wood threshold that got overlooked completely. Will not be recommending them to anyone in the future. Should have went with (3 floor guys) where the owner does the actual work.

I just had my hardwood floors refinished (sanded and stained) in my 1924 College Park home. The floors look awesome. They even had to repair some old termite damage but I couldn't tell you where because it blends right in. Recommend to anyone that needs to breathe new life into their flooring.

Shelby, Turk and crew installed a new hardwood floor in my kitchen remodel and sanded my existing family room- perfection! Loved working with them, highly recommend!
