UPDATE: After reading his response to my review, I reached out to the owner Gary. He apologized for my experience, explained that he has addressed some issues with organization, and promised to send me a check right away. [He also offered to provide free photos for us if my son returns to Cosumnes CSD this summer. Not necessary, but a kind gesture nonetheless.] I received the $15 check a few days later, so I'm adding three stars for Gary's final successful effort to "make it right."

I ordered photos plus a $15 bobble head from Spectrum Photography when my son took a co-ed volleyball class through Cosumnes CSD last summer. I paid with a check on picture day. Later we received our photos (which happened to be attached to the order form of another student), but no bobble head. When I called the owner, he told me that the bobble head was only available for girls, not for boys.
[Huh?? How does that make sense?.... but, I didn't bother asking.]
My next question was - why don't you clarify this on your order form? If I remember correctly, he mentioned that he needed to remove bobble head as an option altogether. [A little late, but fine. Understood.]
My final question was when will I get my $15 back? He asked for my name and address and said he would mail me a check.
After waiting for a couple of months and receiving nothing, I called back. This time the owner told me that he believes he returned the $15 in cash on the day that my son took home his pictures - and that my son probably pocketed the money. [Excuse me?] I calmly replied that my son wouldn't need to steal and lie for $15. [ Is it possible that whoever received our order form also received the returned cash?] Once again, the owner promised to send me a check in the mail. At least 3 more months have passed - and still nothing.
I'm hoping our experience was rare - given the volume of photo sales through Consumnes CSD. At the very least, Spectrum could use some improvement with organization and money handling.

The reason that I would never recommend this photography company is because they are horrible with conversion. They were the photographers that were hired by CSD in Elk Grove to take photos for the soccer league back in May. I literally only order the digital copy of my daughters photos as well as several other parents. Yet, none of us ever received the picture. We literally each paid $25 and have yet to receive anything. Which makes it worse is, its my daughters first sports league ever. Also, some parents never received their correct packages. At this point, we have called as well as reached out several other ways and have never made contact with anyone. As stated above, I wouldnt recommend.
