This company has the best prices and the best work that I’ve ever seen hard-working and very fast at getting the work done very professional always on time very good at communicating with schedules and can do anything do you need for your kitchen or bathroom I would use this company any time and for anything that I ever need granite for.

Make sure you know what you are getting. I spent a lot of money on what I was told was “granite” for a kitchen redo in a condo in Daytona. Turns out it isn’t “granite” but a quartzite which isn’t strong, and must have an ugly yellow mesh underneath. I have this beautiful piece of stone, it is part of countertops and a bar, and because I was midlead as to what I was actually purchasing, the ugly yellow mesh is visible to anyone seated throughout the condo.
When the question was put to Jimmy, the owner of D&D, he then backtracked and said that what I bought was an “exotic” and that all exotics had to be held together with yellow mesh, and that “ I dont know what to tell you”. Perhaps honesty in what a person is buying would be a good place to start.
Another solution was to paint the underside of the bar and the quartzite and its ugly yellow mesh white. Really? Nothing else except excuses. It was known from the beginning there was going to be a bar since this was included in the measurement. If the stone wasn’t the right kind, the customer should be made aware.
So, be very careful when purchasing from this company. Make sure you understand the difference between granite and quartzite. Ask questions. I hope this review will help someone else from being caught in the same unfortunate expensive circumstance.

We had granite placed in two large kitchens and a bathroom by Jimmy, the owner of D&D Improvements. We felt we received a fair and better than competitive price each time and Jimmy was always on time, showed up when he said he would, he educated us on granite and let us choose what we liked. We are happy with every one of his installs. He is a nice person and we highly recommend him. Should we ever need another install, he would definitely be the person we would contact. Thank you, Jimmy!
