I usually don't write reviews of places I DON'T like, I just don't go back. But usually I like Sbarro (almost always pick up a slice in the airport between flights. I just can't resist...) and I've actually been craving it since noticing this location in the mall by my new house. Today, my son & I stopped in for just about the worst lunch I've ever had. All we ordered was a couple of slices of pepperoni pizza and small fountain drinks, and the bill came to almost $7 a person. YIPES!
And, on top of that, the slices were barely warm, super greasy, and completely stale. The crust was almost too hard to bite through, like pizza that was left over from a party the night before. The meat was dried out and crunchy. And the cheese didn't even THINK about stretching or stringing. I was just clumpy, cold, and greasy. Ick.
Even my 11 year old son thought it was disgusting.
I'm not sure how you could screw up so badly a product that is typically pretty solid, but at this location -- it was just downright terrible.
We will NOT be going back for another slice.
