I get to eat sushi all over & I found this place because it was close to my hotel. I could tell as soon as I ate the Saba Sashimi, this was a special place. Eddie, the chef, makes it in house. He then tells me about the house prepared monk fish liver – WOW! There’s a bowl full of Japanese Mountain River Crabs, struggling to dominate a lettuce leaf floating in clear water. He fried a few up for me, whole, ummm goooodd. I’ve been eating sushi my whole life & never had monk fish liver or fried Japanese Mountain River Crabs. Eddie & his crew were great too, very nice & the guests were in a great mood too, it is the place. Simple, honest, fresh, fun, surprising, real, welcoming, I don’t know what else a place could offer. I now want to go back to Fontana just to see Eddie & what cool stuff he’ll surprise me with next time.
