image Management does not care about the residents or staff. They are constantly understaffed and use agency nurses. The workers go out to their cars on multiple breaks to smoke marijuana. It takes 1-2 hours for a CNA to answer a call light and when they do they enter the room, ignore the residents needs, turn off the call light and leave the room. Residents go 6-8 hours without being changed. The CNA's never do showers. They chart "resident refused" and don't even ask or tell the resident its their shower day. The facility is covered in roaches. The doctors only see residents every 6-12 months. When the doctor does "see" a resident it is less than a 5 min visit. Residents are constantly sent out to the hospital d/t lack of care, incorrect meds given, understaffing and no management following through with concerns. Resident's have wounds d/t CNA's not repositioning residents every two hours or changing them. No doctors, no staff, no management....and they just do not care about your loved one all they care about is $$$.

image Well I'm going to say one thing, there's always a first. all of my life I have been passionate with the medical world and I am a medical professional. I had an accident at home . From this accident I suffered a broken femur on my right leg. tile. I had to have emergency surgery and I knew from the way I fell that I had broken my femur, with only 50% weight allowed on it. After my hospital stay, I was sent to this nightmare of a place. Upon my admission, I saw the doctor that was assigned to me in this facility. I am not very keen on meat. When I explained this to my doctor, he agreed that I should be on a vegetarian meal plan, doctor's orders. I was fed ANYTHING and EVERYTHING but what my physician ordered. Through the eyes of a resident, being me, when I called the CNA that was assigned to me, she was incredibly rude. I was afraid I was going to fall again. I needed assistance going to the bathroom. She had the audacity to say that I needed to get up myself. I felt that I was not important, and my needs as well as my care plans at this facility were not met. During that day of admission, my son, my daughter in law, and my grandson came to visit. we decided to go to the outsid porch. As I was sitting there in the wheel chair, puking and choking on vomit, my grandson runs out to get one of the aids that was walking by. He explained who I was and what was happening, this particular aid replied that I am not her patient, and to go find who was working with me. My grandson replied if she dies, it would be your fault. No one came to assist like they should have, so my kids wheel me back to the unit I was assigned to, asked for someone to help me shower, and then told them I am not allowed to shower, when I was given doctor's orders to shower, as well as fresh clothes. But to make my story short, I will end with this. I decided to sign myself out, to get better care with my family, rather than with supposed colleagues. My wheel chair did not come in on time, I was threatened by one of the head team care givers, and told me that if I take the wheel chair out of the facility, the police would be called. I broke my right femur. I told them that If they wanted to arrest me, by all means, do it. If there ever is a next time I fall, after there is a hospital stay and surgery, there will never again be any more rehabilitation centers for me. I am going home. This experience for me felt like I was in a horror film. I will never recommend this facility to anyone. Family, friends, or neighbors. No one knew what they were doing.
