Jose did our wedding pictures. He is caring and professional in the work he does. Pictures were beautiful and made our special day memorable for decades. The quality of the pictures and album is excellent. All pictures still are as clear as when we first got them.

My husband and I hired Jose Salas aka Photo International in July of 2014 for our wedding in September of 2015. We met him at a bridal bazaar at the convention center in San Diego. We paid for the most expensive package, which included our honeymoon photos. We were really impressed by his very kind personality and beautiful metallic albums. So, here's what happened after we signed our contract and paid in full a whole year in advance. 1) The honeymoon photoshoot was literally 25 minutes long.. we weren't pleased with the short session, but didn't complain because he said he got stellar shots. Wrong! We weren't pleased with the final photos, and didn't have many to chose from to use for our save the dates. 2) I emailed him a wedding photo checklist 5 months before the wedding, and he assured me he and his assistant would capture every shot that was requested. The day of our wedding, he didn't show up with an assistant or bother taking any of the photos we requested on the checklist. He probably only captured 10 of the 50 shots on our checklist. This was very disappointing considering we paid him several thousand dollars. 3) HE (Jose) took 8 months to send us our photo albums. AND, the only reason we received it in 8 months was because we had to call, email, and harass him every month about the status of our wedding album and our parent albums. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, THE DAY THAT HE AGREED TO FINALLY DELIVER THE WEDDING ALBUMS, I Noticed he kept staTING, " album" instead of "albums"... So, I told him to confirm that we were receiving all three albums today, and he sent a text stating, HE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FOR THE PARENT ALBUMS, and only had the one wedding album. Please see the photos, as I have screenshotted his text to prove that I am telling the truth. My husband and I told him we would take him to court if he didn't have the parent albums by the end of May 2016... Thank God he sent them to us, so we didn't have to take him to small claims court. 4) Once we received the main wedding album, and reviewed it... we realized immediately that it didn't looK ANYTHING LIKE THE ALBUM AT THE BRIDAL BAZAAR OR THE ONE THAT HE SHOWED US THE DAY WE SIGNED OUR CONTRAct. When I contacts Jose about the difference in the album, he replied, "that one is just as beautiful... The company I use doesn't have the metallic ones you viewed at the bazaar anymore". So, we waited 8 months for an album that was ugly and dull.... Nothing like the shiny metallic album he showed us before. And, if the company doesn't make the same albums.... Why are you showing your new clients the outdated albums???? Better yet... At least, let new clients know that the albums displayed at the bridal bazaar are no longer available.
I think it's fair to let everyone know about his unprofessional service. I would hate for him to inconvenience another bride and groom. :( Jose is a very sweet man (kind personality)... I must admit that... But he is unprofessional, and dishonest. He ruined our wedding photos, and sadly... Several wedding guests sent us photos from their cellphones that were better quality than his work. I must admit that I'm still bitter over him not taking ANY photos of the desert/candy table, not one photo of the gift table, only one photo of the empty ballroom, and a handful of shots including our family and friends. Furthermore, Our wedding album was also crammed with tiny photos on each page because he decided to put as many photos as he could without having to pay the publishing company for additional pages. The list goes on and on.... . Thank you for reading. Please do not go with Jose Salas aka Photo international... Trust me, You'll regret it. :(
