Just ended a 20 year relationship with this company. They canceled my sprinkler turn-on appointment twice. When I asked both of the women who book appointments on two separate occasions to please have their employee call me with an eta before he departed for my house they said it violated company policy because I was the first appointment. What the hell does that matter??
All they had to do was have their man call and say I’ll be there approximately such and such time. Stubborn and difficult to work with; don’t use them...

I had Homestead install a full sprinkler system with WiFi enabled controls. The work was done quickly, neatly, and they went above and beyond (in my opinion) to ensure appropriate coverage without shortcuts or “well it’s just too difficult”. The system is going on year 2 with no issues and have been very pleasant to work with during that time regarding winterization, etc.

My home has 48 zones over 8 acres of land. Dennis and his team had taken on the system from another company that installed it. The other company couldn't get it right. Homestead got it right . I then gave them 4 other properties this year to maintain. I'm happy with them. The girls in the office are great and friendly . they have never missed an appointment. Not the cheapest tool in the shed but one of the better ones. Next year will be 3 years I will be using them and I am satisfied. IU read the ratings and one guy used them for 20 years and gave them one star. That's just silly. every contractor every employee can have a bad day Service: Irrigation system repair/maintenance

In response to the review seen here, I would like to clarify. As the sole owners of Homestead Lawn Sprinkler Co since 1984, we keep excellent records of all our customers. This customer came to us in 2016 as a new service customer we gladly welcomed. As the co-owner, I Michele, spoke with him and did inform him that our 1st appoint is just that a 1 hour 8-9 am first appointment. The only need to call the customer who has a 1st appointment is if our technician calls out sick, truck breaks down or some Act of God. Our Service Technician , reports to work by 7:45 am and leaves the shop with his list of service tickets. Our policy for that first call does not warrant a call on the way, because it is again the 1st call of the day. We do reminder calls the night before which is when I did speak with this customer and he was not happy with our 1st appointment, no need for additional call, policy. I am sorry he felt this strongly about our policy. We at Homestead Lawn Sprinkler Co., continue to serve our customers, expeditiously as possible during COVID and very busy spring summer and fall watering seasons.
