In short, go elsewhere for your U-Haul rental needs.
Reasons for poor review : #1 charged for fuel after in person return when owner confirmed verbally to me (face to face) that he agreed that gas tank gauge was at same spot as when rented and no extra charge would be added. The next week an extra charge appeared on my credit card and I had to call the National U-Haul number to have the charge reversed (which took 35 minutes of my time).
#2 they don't answer the phone...
#3 when you show up DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS to return a rental there is no one there to help you....I waited for 30 minutes for the owner to show up.
#4 although I wasn't charged extra for the additional miles that were placed on the truck after I returned it.....the mileage on the truck reported to U-Haul national office was approx 40 miles more than when I dropped it off.....indicating that the owner was possibly adding miles to the truck for nefarious (certainly unreported) reasons.....
