We recently contracted Patio Covers.us to build us a 19' x 19' patio cover with LED lights. Our new patio cover looks great. The installation was done quickly and the workers were polite, professional and tidy.
I was very impressed with the fine quality of workmanship of the installation as well as the excellent look of the product itself. Alfred sold me on the fine, realistic look of the Elitewood Ultra line. I have to say that it is a beautiful product that highly resembles real wood. One of the things that sold me on this company was the ability to see the product displayed in their beautiful showroom in Northridge where I could look at all of the product lines and see actual displays. Alfred and Monica answered all of our questions and always made themselves available to us. They were knowledgable, easy to deal with and had great ideas to create something that would suit us. We are very happy with the whole experience and highly recommend Patio Covers.us to anyone in the market for a new patio cover.

We talked to Bob on the phone and told him we're interested in a custom gabled patio cover. He said he could come over and give us an estimate. When he arrived and we showed him pictures of what we wanted, he said that no one would do it for us, even though we've already gotten two quotes from people saying they could build it for us. He said he can show us pictures of what he does, so we took a look, but then when we asked if he could make the cover higher (my husband is 6'9" and doesn't want to hit his head), he repeated that he doesn't do those patio covers and that we are wasting his time by wanting something custom. Then he stormed out and slammed the door, without even saying by or anything.
He was incredibly rude. If he can only make the standard patio covers, then he should say that upfront and not get mad at us for wanting something custom, especially when I told him before coming out that we wanted something custom.

Finally decided we needed a solid patio cover in order to start enjoying our backyard patio space again (the SFV seems to be getting hotter year after year). Was referred to M1 Patio Covers and worked with Bob to layout the shape I wanted, decide on support post placements, and asked him to build a solid cover that could double as a future 2nd level deck. Bob absolutely was up for the task, the finished product speaks for itself! Bob used heavy lumber and minimal pitch to get us exactly what we wanted. Beyond that, Bob's master craftsmanship and attention to detail is evidenced in every piece of lumber placement, sawcut, angle, and joint. The speed and professionalism was 2nd to none, our project was completed on time as promised (in two weeks flat) which included setting posts in concrete, priming all lumber, framing beams/ledgers/rafters, laying roof plywood, caulking/sealing all gaps/joints, and two coats of paint, as well as running pre-wiring for hi-voltage and lo-voltage electrical, with the final torch-down roof to give us an excellent finished look, just in time for Summer 2016! M1 Patio Covers and Bob are completely turnkey and I would highly recommend them if you want a worry-free patio cover to enjoy for years to come...

We're very satisfied with our new patio cover. m1 patio was the only contractor that was willing to do the design work that we wanted. We did have a couple of changes along the way and Bob professionally accommodated our needs. We would highly recommend M1 patio. Thank you Mr. Bob!!!
