image Called in and was quoted two very different prices first $500 then $800. Very rude on the phone and not helpful. I took my business elsewhere, found much better pricing. Beware.

image I will agree with many of the other reviews that AODD's front desk employees come across a little uncaring. It left quite the unpleasant taste in my mouth when I went to sign up and was treated like a criminal. The classes were manageable, it was the AA requirement that is really taxing.
The instructors though were mostly pleasant, but Henry was one of the kindest people I have ever met. He makes a point to remember every student's name, and shake your hand after every class. I was actually a little sad when I finished my last class knowing that I wouldn't be seeing him anymore.

image Staff is in unnecessarily unpleasant and rude.

image Like several others have said, this school is nothing but a shady court-backed business out for your money. They WILL find ways to fine you, hassle you, and even TERMINATE you from the program, making you start from week 1 and paying AGAIN. Stay away from AODD, seek others if you must.

image Look, no one wants to acknowledge why they are here or what brought them here, but I found AODD to be extremely helpful for me.
I called the front office and asked to be enrolled. After setting an appointment time, I went there and was seen on-time. Were the people who came barging in the office with no appointment upset that they couldn’t cut in front of me to get service immediately? Yeah, but such is the selfish nature of the alcoholic too.
When I started, I thought the classes were going to tell us how scummy we were for ending up here. Instead, I found the environment to be supportive and spreading a message that lets people know they can escape addiction instead of succumbing to it. I got a lot out of going here, moreso than any support group or impact panel provided me, and I credit this place for helping me overcome my alcoholism. I finished the program in July 2016 and I haven’t been drunk or hung over since (much less drived under that condition.)
Yes, they are strict on start times, but it’s only because the people here need to develop some semblance of discipline if they’re going to overcome their addiction. I was never kicked out of a course and could work things around with the staff if I had to skip a session. Perhaps Saturday classes would be a better fit for those who work so you don’t need to worry about running over from work to class. Just a thought.
