I am 1 month post op:
With my experience, you can tell that Dr. Taranow genuinely cares for women/people and their experiences. He provides you the right support you need, starting with directly providing the information you need to know. He also made himself available at any time to be reached out to for further questions. His staff were very attentive and comforting as well. His hand-picked team is a great [A1] and do their due diligence to provide the proper level of care while also removing the hospital aspect of the procedure. Dr. Taranow and his team have a bedside manner that nestles itself between two important skills of patient care and quality.
Thank you Dr. Taranow, and your team for making my experience profound and helping me be at peace with my body. Additionally, you made my mom and partner feel I was safe in your care.
For those pondering to go further with the question should I do this?, it never hurts to start with questions and if youre leaning toward a yes, do it for yourself You wont regret working with this amazing team.

Had a tummy tuck and lipo. He is the best. The staff are wonderful. During the consultation he is 100% honest about what procedure is best and what looks more natural/realistic. He is very attentive to his patients and keeps in constant contact after surgery. He checked up on me every other day and made sure that I was on track with my post op. The entire staff is wonderful and because the office is small you get his undivided attention. I would recommend him to anyone and was actually recommended to him by one of his previous patients. He is an absolutely wonderful doctor and human being.

Let me start off by saying Dr.Douglas did an amazing job on me. His team is incredibly nice and will make you feel so comfortable ,he preformed lipo 360 on me and I couldn't be happier. After so many consults I'm glad I went with Dr. Douglas , he explained everything nice and clear. The day of the surgery went super smooth , held my hand the whole time . Im a week post op and still pretty swollen but so far I'm loving how I look so far and can actually see my curves and no back fat haha!!

Walking out of my post visit after a week of surgery, I felt horrible. Not because of Dr. Taranow's magnificent work, but because I was in a rush. My husband had to be at work an hour after my visit in New Jersey. So, you can imagine how traffic plays a factor in that. So, here I am walking out of his office with a dozen of yellow roses saddened by not being able to truly take in my pleasure of repeating history. 20 years ago, I was 26 years old and my husband found him for my breast augmentation. After 3 surgeries later, I'd never let any other surgeon touch my breasts for cosmetic work besides Dr. Taranow. He's anal, proficient, sweet, thoughtful and see people with colorless eyes. His staff his beyond nice. They say it's a diamond in the rough to find a doctor with great bedside manners and a competent front office staff. Well, that's not applicable for them. From the Nurse to the Anesthesiologist to the Surgical Tech - everyone was naturally kind. When they put me to sleep Dr. Taranow held my other hand while setting up the IV. He's SUCH A SWEETHEART and very good with his prices. I highly recommend  him and staff anyday. He prints the same business cards from years ago and a couple of his staff members were his clients. That tells you a lot about a man. My son is rushing me off to drop him off for school 45 minutes away. If not, I would write a scroll of beautiful words for them!!!

Theres lots of glowing reviews on here. I am delighted to add one more and share my experience with Dr TaranowQuick stats : 125, 5.7, lipo for body shaping. Triceps, 360, inner and outer thigh. 3l removed. I am a researcher so I can assure you the grunt work was done. Dr Taranow was one of 5 doctors I consulted with. Some of my insights (and differences I saw between his team and others) 1. Dr Taranow has a wealth of experience with a number of shapes, sizes and colors and will make appropriate recommendations suited for you. Since I am slender and darker skinned, he explained the cannula size he would use for me and told me some of the care and watch out tips for brown skin2. Most of the reviews mention quicker and smoother recoveries. That usually speaks to skill and practice as well as pre and post op care. I realize each person is different but I have been lucky to be recovering quickly and smoothly. 3. Dr Taranow takes the time to address concerns and is approachable and forthright, which I appreciate very much. He also makes sure the results look natural and match with your body type and structure. 4. He offers a streamlined pricing structure (in comparison to others ) with a number of pre and post op items built in - made my life significantly easier rather than keeping track of itemization6. Great bedside manner! Called me on the night of surgery to check on how I was doing and  gave me flowers and my before photos on my first week follow up appointment to remove stitches. The personal and personalized care is touching and appreciated. He's also present at every meeting you would have with him (consultation and pre op or any other) and offers follow up appointments where he meets with you personally. 7. The op room is located in his office space - I didn't need to go anywhere or meet any new people or go to a different surgical center. All costs were estimated under one roof and it was comforting to see familiar faces on the day of surgery. 8. He's pretty particular as a person. He makes the fluid he uses for the procedure himself. It's a standard formula but he doesn't outsource the work to someone else. He also cleans you down before surgery (with an anti bacterial soap) rather than handing you over to the nurse present since he likes the peace of mind that's it is done to his standard and protocol. Cindy and Beatrice up front are the nicest people - very helpful and approachable, spend time with you making sure you have all your questions answered. They also call and text with reminders and updates. I'm too early to say much about effects of surgery (I am one week post op) but I will say a lot of me is much smaller and better shaped and I hope to see that continue over time.
