The location is amazing - if you want to be near West Village. However our room was dirty. The carpet had not been vacuumed before we checked in - and looking at the inch of dark dust along the walls and legs of furniture, it hadnt had a good thorough vacuuming for at least several months. So that was gross. Upside in addition to location - the bedding was clean and new - versus the furniture that was dated and chipped, tears in the carpet, wall paper peeling in the bathroom - Not what you expect from a 3 star hotel.

Hotel with an unbeatable location, metro 5 minutes away, close to all points of interest, pleasant staff, somewhat old but good facilities, perfect lovi for free coffee and a quick bite to eat, free bottles of water at reception, highly recommended

Excellent location. Two blocks away there is a subway station that takes you everywhere.
