image My father is at this hospital right now and has fallen 2 nights in a row now and the nurses have been very rude and they act like they do not want to work and cant do their jobs right. How is this possible at one of the best hospitals !? Extremely disappointed and can not believe this !

image PLEASE, PLEASE READ: DON'T GO TO MSK IF YOU WANT CARE.  GO IF YOU WANT TO PROVIDE STATISTICAL DATA FOR RESEARCHERS.  ALEXANDER SHOUSTARI SHOULD STAY IN THE LAB.  BHUVANESH SINGH SHOULD NOT GO NEAR A PATIENT.  HE DIDN'T READ WILL'S PATHOLOGY REPORTS.  BUT HE DID TELL JOKES.  MY SON WAS A VICTIM OF THIS INSTITUTION.  Contact us if you want proof.  We have it in video, text and email, most inadmissible at trial as hearsay.John Kiersky and Nancy Leffert Earle, administrators of the estate of William Kiersky et al vs, Buvanesh Singh, MD and Memorial Sloan Kettering.  Be careful, because you won't find an oncologist in New York or the surroundings to testify against MSK.  You will only find oncologists who work with and profit with Jedd Wolchuk and they will testify against you.MSK is the worst place in our opinion,  MD Anderson was the best, as my son even said that in his last few months of life.  Buvanesh Singh misread his pathology in the first month of diagnosis of melanoma (yes, we sued, and Singh admitted liability, but claimed that his mistake wasn't the cause of my son's death.)   His oncologist, Alexander Shoustari, when he was finally referred to an oncologist months too late (due to Bhuvanish Singh's misread pathology report) was young, and didn't even know how to do a needle biopsy.  I complained to Jedd Wolchuk , head of immunology, who said not to worry, all the oncologists would see my son.  Not one... except a few minutes of guidance from Chapman, an oncologist who came in to suggest the biopsy of a new, large lump.My son was 33, career soaring as a sports producer and wanted to live so much.  No guidance from Alexander Shoustari.  I have video to prove it.  My son was nominated for an Emmy one month after we lost him for "The Boom Squad - Vice World of Sports - Rivals".  One month after. The hospital facility is truly awful!  People fighting for their lives in cramped rooms, and 2, at most, nurses on overnight on the critical care 15th floor.  It's as if cancer patients aren't sick at night.  I would have raged if I weren't the mother of a young man struggling to breathe with no help from 11 pm - 7am.  I pleaded for a doctor.  Finally a Dr. from urgent care came in at 4 a.m. and said she couldn't do anything.  So I moved my son from seat to the bed, to the porta-toilet to the bed to the chair and back and forth as he tried to get some breath.  No one CARED. NO ONE CARED.  No one was there.  I could not imagine the ethos of an organization that was this callous.  It was callous. My anger in the morning was answered by a patient advocate who did nothing more than oooh, nooo, ahhh. And then he was in ICU intubated.  No SHOUSTARI.And then, we moved my son to the 19th floor, the "executive floor" where the rooms are clean and quiet, where a family (as they should be able to anywhere, as they can at MD Anderson) can gather to be with and support  their loved one.  And we paid from$2500 to $4000 per night for my son to have a room where we could all be there to support his fight (and they'll tell you not to use that analogy) and then where we lost him.  Yes $2500 - $4000 per night.  Thank you American Express for allowing me to do that.  American Express, not MSK, gave me compassion to give my son and our family that room and they gave me extended payment options at no cost.  And in his final weeks, SHOUSTARI, his oncologist was no where to be found.  We were relying on respiratory therapists, emergency medicine therapists and P.A.'s we'd never seen before for guidance  ABOUT THE END OF LIFE OF YOUR SON?  We had no idea what was going on and his ONCOLCOGIST, ALEXANDER SHOUSTARI was gone, disappeared.  For days, I had nurses telling me that his body was shutting down.  P.A.'s were there, but NOT his oncologist, 33 year old, Alex Shoustari, not to talk to us - not to explain what was happening, what we could expect, what Will was going through and what we could do to make sure he was comfortable.  Just a few people who didn'tknow Will, who hadn't been with Will over the horrible few years at MSK, just our family alone, holding Will.Don't go to MSK.  Don't go to Bhuvanesh Singh, who makes over $1.5 million per year and still thinks its OKAY to make mistakes on reading cancer patients's pathology reports. He should be NO WHERE NEAR patients.  And Shoustari should never leave the lab.  Don't try to sue them if they make mistakes.  Take a close look at the printed medical records while you are still a patient.  You'll see how they will manipulate them.  All of your intake information repeats on every page.  If you tell them you smoked a pack a day 10 years ago, it will become you smoked a pack a day while you were in treatment. Our opinion is that their defense counsel,  Glen Dopf, ... well, you formulate your own opinion, if you look at the transcript.  It will be public soon in a book, so will folks know what they face when they trust their lives to MSK.
