A little expensive. Decided not to take my animal for care.

Office staff and Dr were very nice. We were in a jam and needed our cats to be seen right away. They were very accommodating and helped us out. We will be switching to this office for all of our vet needs.

I would not recommend this vet to anyone. Where do I begin? Ive scheduled appointments weeks in advance to just show up to a full waiting room and not be called back until hours after my appointment time. The first time we took our cat here we noticed that the vet Dr Maddy is pretty scared of our cat and tries not to touch her very much. We had blood tests done and were never given the results. About 3 weeks later we brought her in for a urinary tract infection. The staff immediately knew what it was because her blood tests - the one we never got the results for - showed she had one. Yet - even though we never saw Dr Maddy or had an exam, we were charged AGAIN for a comprehensive exam and blood tests? The next time we went was not any better- we brought her in for a teeth cleaning that was highly recommended (by them of course) and we had asked them not to pull any teeth without calling us or consulting us (you sign a paper even saying they will call you). 12 hours later we are picking up our cat MISSING TWO TEETH right before closing. Our cat was barely awake when we picked her up and we had to keep her in her kennel for the rest of the night. The staff basically hustled us out the door without warning us that she was still heavily under the influence of anesthesia. Also - it costed over $1000. We were told it would be $350-400. The last time we brought our cat in was the final straw. We brought her in for a leg injury. Dr Maddy took one look at her (again didnt touch her out of fear) and diagnosed her with arthritis. Staff promptly tried to sell us a shot and discouraged us to have X-rays taken. We asked for X-rays to be taken and they provided us with a $899 quote insisting she needed to be put to sleep to take X-rays. We took our cat to Best Care Animal hospital and got the X-rays we requested for less than $300 - and they didnt even bring up putting her to sleep. This vet seemed appalled that All Pets Hospital wanted to put our 10 year old cat on anesthesia for 3 X-rays.
Turns out her pain is not arthritis, she has a mass (possibly cancerous) on her chest. Had we let Dr Maddy and staff sell us on an arthritis diagnosis (they were already trying to sell us arthritis treatments) we would have never found out about the mass in her chest and we would have never been able to give her proper care for it.
Dr Maddy is kind, but shes awfully young and arrogant, and shes definitely not a cat person. The outrageous prices of this vet make me inclined to believe that they are more in the business of making money than helping animals. I wouldnt recommend this vet to anyone but I can definitely recommend Best Care Animal Hospital. Its about 5-10 mins away from this place, much more experienced doctors and better care.
