My children and I about to be out on the street waiting on an approval I been crying daily. I see people really dont care about others. I found us a place got approved now just waiting section 8 to do they part Im so depressed and upset with myself as a mother for even having to depend on help.A mom of an autistic child is hard. These people take they sweet time trust me and get upset and dont answer when you call

Me and my mom both have disabilities preventing us from being able to work, she is on SSI and Im currently working on getting mine. We have lucky found an efficiency apartment which is basically a hotel room until a housing voucher comes in, but she needs a hospital bed and has to use a powered wheelchair as well as a walker she gets caregiving, home health nurses, and physical therapy and we simply dont have enough room for her to get the appropriate care she needs. We were told that the emergency voucher would take a few weeks back in early August now we are going on the 5th month of waiting for a wheelchair accessible place.

MDHA sucks. I can never get in contact with this company. Somebody needs to take action and answer the phone to help people get the information they need
