Rite aid in mountain city is now Walgreens I went today and got my flu vaccine and my third dose of the modermna vaccine the pharmacist was very helpful in helping me make the right decision and it was not much of a wait at all after I got done with my papper work it only took ten minutes and I had both my vaccines and ready to go they have a well organized store they sell anything you could need they have masks , gloves , vitamins, hair dyes, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste ,cold medicine and much more to choose from if you have any questions the employees will gladly help you with any of your needs

Been here 2 hours waiting on a prescription, people if you are in mountain City, do yourself a favor and take your business to Adams Pharmacy.

HUGE screw up with the switch to Walgreens. I had a Teladoc appointment this morning and they called a script in at 10:16 AM. I had to leave town for a few hours and stopped when I got back around 1:30. They were revamping the store and wouldn't let any one much past the front door, I couldn't go back to the pharmacy. Someone took my name and DOB back to get the script then came back to inform me that they had nothing for me. On top of that she told me I couldn't use the GoodRx card because I had insurance when I do NOT have prescription drug coverage plus it says right on the card that you can use it in place of insurance. And the parking lot was full because of all the people working on the switchover. To make matters even more confusing they hung temporary Rite Aid signs over the permanent Walgreens signs recently even though they are switching to Walgreens. I had to call Teladoc back several times to get the script sent to a different pharmacy. Rite Aid and Walgreens have seen the last of me for sure!!!!

I have been having health concerns. My healthcare provider tried some medicine that did not work so she prescribed a medicine that works through different chemistry. When I went to get it filled the price was more than I could afford. I asked the young latina pharmacy tech named Maria to see if there was a cheaper medicine that worked the same way. She stepped away and I could not see her as I was in the drive thru. Another tech came over to the window about 10 minutes later and asked if she could help. I said a tech had been helping but I didn't know where she went. Then a few minutes later Maria came back and I discovered she had been working hard that whole time trying to find a coupon or discount that would allow me to afford my medicine...and she did. That medicine has made my life so much better. I cried that day because I was so moved by that lady going above and beyond just to help her fellow man. She didn't earn anything extra over what her pay would've been for telling me "tough luck" and going to the next prescription. The next time I stopped to get my medicine refilled I said I wanted to tell her bosses how she had been so wonderful to me. I learned she had worked earlier that day but at the end of her shift left in tears because twice in two days people had cursed her, refused to let her wait on them, and had screamed for her to "Go back to Mexico!"
I don't know if anything is going to make America great again but these racists are going to hurt my pharmacy. And I wish more of my fellow Americans were more like that young woman Maria who worked so hard to help me.
