Tom Erickson, i know your post is old, but i just saw it. i noticed the logo as well. Doesnt bother me one bit and im Atheist. If this is how you choose healthcare, you may be shocked to hear you are surrounded by faith based hospitals. Advocate Rush Copley being one. your nearest trauma center, is faith based. it doesnt mean they ask you to accept jesus as your savior, it means they use the principles of helping and caring for the sick.

Boo! to Ridge Ambulance. On my way home tonight I noticed the Jesus fish symbol on the back of one of their ambulances. Being in the medical/health service, they in no way should be displaying their religious beliefs like that. It is offensive to other religions and secularists alike. Over the years, the Christian religion has supported genocide, infanticide, slavery, and murder while suppressing astronomy, biology, and science in general. If I owned a company, I would distance myself from such doctrine. If Ridge Ambulance finds it necessary to place a symbol on their vehicles, I suggest the Darwinian walking fish as the medical field has been able to greatly advance due to a greater understanding of biology due to evolution by natural selection. I sure hope that the service Ridge Ambulance provides is superior to their ambulance decorating decisions.
