We only stayed one night at this hotel, and it was great. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with everything you need. The most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in!! The breakfast was simple but basic and very good. Having its own free parking is a plus point. Those who have treated us very kindly

The age of the rooms is noticeable, as well as the property. The breakfast was decent, we liked the coziness of the eating space. More outdoor deck space if needed to eat as well...although it looked like a few rooms were right up against it.
Sauna was bolted shut. Elevator was a little shaky. Will make note about fine print if you have a fireplace to charge for logs - and if you "dirty" the towels too much. Like staining will get an extra charge.
The location though was soooo walkable! Trader Joe's around the corner, plenty to eat and shop. Short drive to other good touristy spots.

Very nice inn within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and the location was quiet.

My wife and I stayed at Colton Inn for 4 nights last week. We were in town for a work convention and wanted to be close to the convention center without paying $250+ a night. When we travel we are almost never in our room anyway. Colton Inn was perfect for us. The front desk staff was amazing. Karisma checked us in and gave us great recommendations on where to eat in town. Kristina was very helpful each morning. The room was clean and comfortable. If we end up back in Monterey we will definitely stay there again.
