Heartland Home Inspections was recommended to us by our realtor. Lee performed our home inspection, while his colleague Ed, who we did not meet, performed a tank sweep on the property. Highly recommended, Ed's process was thorough and easy to understand and follow. He showed up early and had already completed half of the inspection before we even got there. He caught many things that a previous inspector had missed, and offered insight on how to address some of the major ones. We'll definitely be repeat customers.

Our real estate agent recommended that we use Heartland Home Inspections for the inspection of what is now our first home, and we are very happy that we did. From the first time we contacted them until after the reports were sent to us, everyone involved was very professional and responsive. When I first contacted them, Ed Novak actually pulled his car over to take my call and get things started. Lee Turkowski performed the majority of the inspection, and it quickly became obvious that he was very experienced, knowledgeable, and thorough. He began by giving an overview of the inspection process, and then continued to inspect and explain things that were found in the exterior, interior, basement, etc. Not only did he take the time to explain everything in detail to us, but he did so with a smile and in a way that we as first time homebuyers could understand. We left that day feeling that we really understood our home, as well as what type of maintenance we could expect in the coming years. Overall it was a great experience, and we would definitely use them or recommend them in the future!
