I made an appointment to donate blood, when I made the appointment it did not specify that only the donor could enter. When I arrived I was told I would need to leave my granddaughter that is 10 years in the car by herself. I walked out without donating blood, they need to include this information on the appointment page. A waste of time ..

I've been donating whole blood or Platelets here for the last 12 months. Most of the staff is great along with Kamecia at the front desk. Morganne, Nidia, and Michelle are especially skilled phlebotomists for hitting deep non protruding and occasionally rolling veins like mine.

Refuses to allow donations.
This place was amazing when it was Delta Blook Bank but since being seized by Red Cross it is now impossible to donate. I had donated every 8 weeks for over ten years and now they won't take my blood. Staff is rude and unprofessional.
*Edit: I was contacted by customer service and they helped me get in to donate. The experience was still slow, but at least I was able to donate.

Having donated 82 units over the course of the last 35 years this was the worst experience ever. I never made it past the front desk because of the way I was treated. Aims to be the new norm now. My days of donating blood in Modesto over.
