My wife and I moved up to this area about 6 years ago. In short, the average interaction with local service providers tends leave lots to be desired. I can't say the same for Dawes Septic. Their team is consistently thoughtful, capable, accessible, respectful, personable, and just a pleasure to interact with. Makes me wish every project on my farm involved a septic tank. Thanks all. Dawes contacted us that we were due for a pumping. Had them come out to pump out our tank again. Becky was very informative with any questions I had prior to pumping. Driver was courteous and nice. In the event of pumping the inlet lid got broken(my fault). Driver told me to call office and see if they had a lid. I called spoke with someone in the office and they stated they did. I drove to office got the proper lid and returned my tank all in 1 day. By them having the septic lid saved me from trying to track down a lid.

I awoke to the smell of sewage in my house. To my surprise my septic was backing up into my finished basement. This was happening at 2 AM. I did not know what to do other than to grab my shop vac. I googled septic repair with my ZIP Code and up came Dawes Septic.
I called and left a message on their 24 hour line. Within the hour I received a call back from Carl the owner. He asked what was happening and was very reassuring to speak with. He Said he would be to my house around 8 AM. I was uncertain that this would happen as it was only 6 degrees outside with sleet and freezing rain (Ulster County later declared a state of emergency). Carl called me on his way to let me know he was still coming. He arrived and immediately went to work.
Within a short time he explained what the problem was and the remedy to fix it. Today his crew came and installed a new pump in one of my septic tanks. They were very professional. Called me when they were on their way. When they arrived they explained what they were going to do. I am now flushing toilets again! I cannot leave out the communication between Mrs. Dawes letting me know what was going on as far as a search for a pump and scheduling.
I would recommend DAWES SEPTIC YOU CANT GO WRONG AND I CANT THANK THEM ENOUGH! Services: Sewer repair, Outdoor plumbing system repair
