We spent about $1600 to be told that the cat had a a GI upset. A chest x-ray was called a 'radiograph' and we were charged about $575.

We recently had to put our 14 year old dog Penny down. The staff and doctors at Blue Pearl we so compassionate and cared for us and our dog through this really emotional time. They gave us all the time we needed with her and even gave us ice cream cones as a special treat for her before she crossed the rainbow bridge. About a week and a half later, we received a beautiful wooden box with her remains and her paw print. Thank you so much for treating her with love and respect.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a vet or emergency vet clinic. We brought our animal in for not eating or exiting. You could tell she was in pain and it resulted in her having shallow breathing.
Instead of asking more qualifying questions. The doctor assumed right away that it was asthma and wanted to do a chest xray.
It turns out she did not have asthma. They, went back to square one and finally ran some blood tests, once those came back negative, we talked about a urinary test and then an abdominal xray.
After them milking us for 2000 dollars, we were sent home with some meds for pain and a bladder infection which she did not have.
I would have been happy with some bloodwork and an abdominal xray, but was pushed into spending so much more on their erroneous recommendations.
I understand that is part of the troubleshooting, but if they had asked a couple more questions and had more experience, I strongly feel like my bill would have been cut in half.
If you have deep pockets, then disregard this review, but if you want to want to spend a reasonable amount of money for the services you are receiving, there are many better options that would be worth driving an extra 15 minutes for.
