Horrible customer service. I setup auto pay, which didnt process, then received a past due email. Impossible to get a customer service representative on the phone and no way to contact them other than by phone.

Where do I start? Their overhead lines frequently are damaged in storms leading to power loss, their website is clumsy and contradictory, and access to electric vehicle charging programs is problematic with Xcel and its partners not understanding how to connect their customers. A phone call to corporate offices confirms that they don't even make their representatives aware of the existence of said programs. It appears that public oversight of utilities has failed to make Xcel compliant with customer needs.
